This 76–81GHz FMCW radar level sensor delivers ±1mm high precision with narrow 3° beam and 0.08m blind zone. It supports 0.08–120m measuring range, 4–20mA/HART and Modbus output, adapting to liquids, powders and slurries under dust, high temp and pressure without contact wear.
76–81GHz wide bandwidth realizes millimeter-level measuring accuracy: With 5GHz FM sweep bandwidth and advanced FFT echo analysis, the radar reaches ±1mm measurement precision. Short wavelengths capture weak echoes from fine powders and uneven material surfaces, ensuring steady accurate readings across full measuring range.
Ultra-narrow 3° antenna beam eliminates stray interference: Its concentrated 3° signal beam avoids false echoes from tank brackets, ladders and feeding pipes. Less signal scattering brings stronger anti-interference performance, effectively removing measurement deviation caused by internal structural obstacles.
Near-zero 0.08m blind zone supports small vessel precise monitoring: Extremely short blind area breaks the limit of traditional radars. It accurately detects material height even in narrow small tanks and short silos, without dead measurement space at the top of containers.
Fully non-contact sensing avoids medium impact errors: The antenna never touches liquid, slurry or solid materials. No abrasion, adhesion or chemical corrosion changes sensing conditions, so measurement accuracy won't drift from medium buildup or mechanical wear long-term.
Stable signal under complex harsh working conditions: Short-wave radar penetrates dust, steam, foam and volatile mist with minimal attenuation. It maintains consistent high precision in high-temperature, pressurized and agitated tanks without signal loss or data fluctuation.
High-speed echo refresh guarantees real-time precise tracking: Fast signal response and adjustable echo refresh rate capture rapid material level changes instantly. It tracks fast filling/discharging processes accurately, providing reliable high-precision data for automatic control systems.
Non-contact measurement design avoids medium corrosion: The radar antenna does not touch liquid, slurry or corrosive solids directly. There is no immersion probe to be eroded by acid, alkali or salt, eliminating long-term corrosion damage to sensing components and extending service life greatly.
Optional corrosion-resistant antenna and housing materials: Stainless steel shells and quartz-sealed lens antennas are configurable. Quartz resists most corrosive chemicals, preventing medium vapor from corroding internal radio frequency circuits inside the meter.
Stable signal immune to corrosive vapor interference: 80GHz short wavelength signals penetrate corrosive fog, steam and volatile chemical fumes without attenuation. Unlike ultrasonic sensors, vapor corrosion will not cause signal loss or measurement drift.
Fully sealed IP68 protection structure: Integrated waterproof and dustproof enclosure blocks corrosive gas, liquid mist from entering internal electronics. Even in closed corrosive tanks, internal circuits stay protected from chemical erosion.
No wetted consumable parts to replace: No electrodes, floats or contact probes that need regular replacement due to corrosion. It cuts maintenance labor and spare part costs for corrosive working environments year-round.
